Quality Management System

EKL is committed to provide the highest quality of services to it’s customers as per internationally acceptable standards. To consistently meet this commitment, EKL has independent QA/QC Department. Incharge QA/QC directly reports to Managing Director or Director. Incharge QA/QC sits at head office and look after the quality matters by deputing the quality staff at sites and EKL Works. QA/QC department is fully supported by the top management and employees at all levels.

Quality Management system
EKL has a fully documented Quality Management System.

Quality Manual
The Quality Manual details the quality policy, quality system procedures, quality organization and the responsibility and authority of the key personnel. It also defines the channels for communication with the customer so as to cater to his specific requirements.

Quality Assurance Procedures> EKL Quality Department has developed its quality assurance procedures for all departments including Business Development, Proposals, Planning, Human Resources, Quality, Procurement, Stores, Production, Maintenance and Sub-Contracting, and Information Technology Resources.

Implementation, Monitoring and Improvement
The QA/QC manager is responsible for the implementation of the ISO 9001:2000 clauses and quality assurance program. Furthermore, employees at all levels, by way of training and discussions, are made conscious of their responsibility towards QA/QC, and in addition to their normal duties, are also required to simultaneously take up the role of QA/QC managers in their own sphere of influence.

The QA/QC manager is also responsible for a constant review of the quality manual, procedures, plans and work instructions and to recommend any improvements to the Managing Director.

Quality Audits
In order to ensure our commitment towards quality, the Quality Management System is audited twice in a year by Certifying Authority (Lloyds Register Quality Assurance). Internal quality audit is also conducted at an interval of 6 months by qualified internal auditors.

Site Monitoring and Implementation
Assurance of Quality at site is the direct responsibility of Quality Control Engineer. He reports to Manager Quality control at head office. Prior to execution of jobs, Quality Inspection Plans are prepared for each job. The work execution is monitored by the QA/QC as per Quality Inspection Plan. All inspection activities are recorded on their appropriated approved format. Upon completion of project, complete inspection record is submitted in the shape of inspection Dossier. EKL keeps this inspection record for 05 years.
